Strategic Planning Services, Inc. and Haskell Malaysia Services Sdn Bhd announce a cooperative agreement for
airport-related planning and development, effective April 18, 2022.

Strategic Planning Services, Inc., (SPS), a U.S. based global airport planning consultancy that helps airport owners develop visionary, sustainable, feasible and efficient aviation solutions, has formed a cooperative agreement with the Haskell Company, a leading U.S. engineering, design, and construction enterprise to plan, design and implement aviation-related infrastructure in Vietnam and other ASEAN countries.

According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, Vietnam was the world’s seventh fastest growing aviation market before the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Although Vietnam’s aviation industry has been severely impacted by the pandemic, the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV), estimates the average annual growth rate will reach 7.5-8.5 percent for passengers and 8.4 - 9.7 percent for freight traffic. By 2030, passenger air traffic is expected to reach 280 million per year and freight traffic to reach 6.8 million per year, requiring extensive investment in airport infrastructure, air traffic service enhancements, aircraft maintenance and overhaul capacity, and other services development.
